Here is the hard truth: There is no way to be devoted to Jesus and be disconnected from your Bible. True devotion means sitting under the preaching of the Word weekly, studying it daily, and actually doing what it says (James 1:22).

When a community lives like this, the results are undeniable. It creates a culture of awe, bringing people truly together. It leads to radically selling and distributing to those in need, creating glad and generous hearts. This kind of devotion results in having favor with all people—and because of it, the Lord added to their number day by day.
